Rio2016 : One year later

Sergio Ricardo is an ecologist and one of the founders of Movimento Baia Viva. As a social activist, he has been committed to the cause for more than 20 years. He is the person to talk to when it comes to the fight for a clean Guanabara Bay.

Baia Viva joins diverse organizations and people, fishermen, environmentalists, sportsmen, students, teachers, citizens. They are a plural collectivity with one objective: to fight against the degradation of Guanabara Bay, to fight for a Living Bay (Baia Viva in portuguese).

The Guanabara Bay is one of the richest ecosystems in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Scenery of important moments in the history of Brazil. It is a living space of socializing and exchanges.
