The port area is the area that outwardly displays the redevelopment legacy. It is undoubtedly an open meeting space for all social classes and families. Every week there are cultural events as well as increased tourism and visits to the new Museu da Amanha (The Museum of Tomorrow). Also, during the week, it is used by people who work nearby to have lunch, spend time outdoors and enjoy a new performance stage that the city placed there.
